Welcome to Memory Keeping Friday, today I am sharing how my February Project Life Pages are set up.
There is nothing really exciting happening in my Project Life Album yet, I feel like the first few weeks, and months of the new year is really easy going in my album.
I have my basic foundation pages set up, and I’m adding my photos as I go along every few weeks.
If you missed the set up my album you can check that out HERE!
Right now I am feeling pretty caught up with this project.
January turned out great, and I love adding a few items of world events happening. I think it is important to document the things happening all around us.
As of this first week of February I have all my journaling caught up and done, and I’m getting ready to set up my March foundation pages.
I’ve added my typed journaling to a few of the slots, and then it was easy to add my journaling on the cards provided.
I tend to struggle with journaling so what I have found works for me is doing both journaling on my computer and adding it, and limiting the amount of spaces I leave for journaling.
I will be getting photos printed this next week to add to my album.
It is currently working for me to get photos printed a few weeks. I don’t like to go longer than that because then I start to feel like I’m not connecting with the project like I like to do.
The small embellishments I’ve already added to February are from Ali Edwards By The Month Story Kit.
I’ve been getting these items from Ali for almost 3 years now and it has been a great way to build of a stash of items that I love using.
These are the products that I keep going back to, and really the only products that I purchase for my Project Life albums.
I like keeping it simple and not having a too many different items to grab and use. I find that I have found the products that really speak to me, and I don’t need to look for any other products.
Here are a few of the things that I’m using in my album all year that you may want to check out.
- Circle Calendar Cards – I print 4 sets of these out, so I have 4 calendars per month. I print them at 93 percent and use the largest stitched circle die from Stampin’ Up to cut them out.
- Project 52 Fresh – This is the kit that I’m currently using for the week cards.
- Stitched Hexagons – I’m using these so much this year, and really loving them.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how February is turning out! I look forward to sharing more with you about my Project Life Family album over the next few months.
