Project Life Layouts For September

After weeks of struggling with photo organization on my computer, and complications with my iPhone I have finally got things straightened out.

This last week I got around 90 photos printed, but I knew that I hadn’t been been taking photos on a daily basis, so I would need to get creative with the way I filled up my layouts for September.

I decided to create several “Themes” and use them for some of the weeks that were missing daily photos. These themes can be as simple as focusing a weekly spread on one of your children, a pet, or a room in your house.

This is a great way to focus on  details, and stories of life that may get over looked otherwise.

Make sure you check out the bottom of this post for a great list of “themes” you can use to fill up those weeks in your Project Life Album.

I decided to use 2 themes during the month of September. I did a driving theme, and a family theme.
The first theme I used was “driving” and this theme came from an Ali Edwards Story Kit.

I used PicTapGo to create black, and white filters on several photos of my grandparents I took during a recent weekend visit.

I thought I would put together a list of themes that you could use in your Project Life Album. You can use themes to create a layout that would replace a week of everyday photos, or your could use these themes to create an insert within your weekly, or monthly spread.

Click below to print out this document, and start to using it. I would love to hear any other themes you come up with that are not on the list.

I will have a special blog post for you guys tomorrow! Make sure come back tomorrow for World Card Making Day!

Katina, I love your PL layouts. Where do you get your weekly numbers? I was watching a couple other videos and I noticed you had different ones last year. Do you make them?

Hi Lynda, Do you mean the circles that have the weekly number on them???
Each year I do something different… this year I’m using the same cards I did two years ago, next year I’m using circle date cards like I did last year… I tend to want to mix things up a little, but I always have 2 or 3 styles I tend to go back to.
The black weekly circle I created! you can purchase them for $2.00 and print them out.
You can punch them out with a 1 inch circle punch. Let know if that answered your question. I’m happy to help if it didn’t.
