Playing Catch Up With Project Life

The last few weeks have been so crazy that I haven’t had the time to focus on our family album! So now I am back to playing catch up with Project Life!

I have to admit that I around the end of July / beginning of August I get a little burnt out on my Project Life Album!

I think its simply because of the timing. Its the end of Summer and school is starting and I know that the Holiday are right around the corner! I thought I would share with you how I dive back in to our family album and start pulling it together again.

Here are 4 other placing I have found really great information about getting caught up with Project Life. The thing you want to remember is everyone is has a different style when it comes to Project Life. What works for me may not work for you.

Don’t get overwhelmed and give up on getting these albums complete. It doesn’t take much time to get back into the swing of things.

Catching Up With Project Life

  • 3 Easy Tips – Any project you do is going to be easier once you brake it up into small steps. I love that Traci gives you 3 easy steps you can do to get caught up! These tips will work great to keep you inspired as well.
  • How to do a major Project Life catch up – A “major catch up” can mean different things to all of us. I feel “behind” when I’m about a month late on my Project Life album! That may not feel that behind to someone who is 6 months behind!
Whatever your Major Catch Up needs to be Lauren is going to walk you through the process step by step of what she does. She has great organization tips for you.
You will for sure feel inspired to jump back into you album after visiting her site.
  • How to do a 30 week catch up in 2 weeks – This is a hard core plan to get really caught up by dedicating time each day to certain tasks. I’ve not needed to do as I can block out a few hours and power through. However if you are really short on time this could work well for you.
  • Fitting mulitply years into 1 album – I’ve seen this talk about before and couldn’t find the original link. Becky Higgins shared this on her website at some point. This is a great way to keep things simple. Don’t feel like like a year is not complete unless its in 3 albums.

I hope you have found some of these links helpful! As much as I love Project Life I can admit that sometimes its a little hard to keep up with it all.

Remember to KEEP THE END IN MIND! I promise having all those albums with years of memories to look through is going to be worth the time you spend now documenting everyday moments.

If you would like to get my Ulitmate Guide To Capturing Everyday Moments you will want to add your name to the grey box below! This guide will help you capture MORE of your everyday moments.

Here is some extra footage for you today of how and why I set up my albums 3-4 months ahead of time. This saves a great deal of time when I’m dropping photos into my albums.
