Lighthearted Leaves Shaker Card

I had so much fun making that Snowman Shaker card I just had to try it again. Lighthearted Leaves is brand new stamp set in the Holiday Catalog that will go live on September 1st! I thought this would be the perfect set to use to make a Fall Shaker Card!

On this card I used the Clean Brush Marker set and if you are interested in me doing review please let me know.

The first time I tried making this card it didn’t turn out how I wanted. The colors didn’t work well together so I tried it again with different colors. Make sure you leave me a comment to let me know which one you like better.

You can see how I created both cards here. I used Blackberry Bliss the first time and then I used Basic Black. I like how the Basic Black look with the Kraft Cardstock!

One of the other products that I was able to use was the Washi Tape Punch that is the Annual Catalog.
I had not had a chance to use this punch and it turned out to be a great way to add my “Give Thanks” to this card.

I had thought about using Gold Embossing Powder but after all the work I did to make the shaker card I didn’t have it in me to go through all the work it takes to emboss! A little crazy I know, but I am a simple kind of girl when it comes to card making. I like to just get it done!!

I will be hosting my first LIVE YOUTUBE EVENT next Tuesday! This is when the Catalog will be ready for you to order from. I will be taking you on a Catalog Tour where I will be talking about all the new fun product that you are going to want get your hands on.

I will also be making a card right from the Catalog. I thought it would be fun to create this card using the Perfect Pine’s Bundle!

I just discovered your site and thought it’s fabulous that you’re using not only SU products!!! I wouldn’t mind seeing your zig review… Your comment about SU’s glue with its “new” tip was hilarious (another video) 🙂 You using both (SU with other companies combined) is great! And I love your PL projects, ideas, reviews!!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us 🙂
