Stampin’ Up Convention Swap Cards 2015

Stampin' Up Convention 2015

Hello Friends! This week is going to be a little bit different here on my website because I am heading to the Stampin’ Up Convention!!!! This will be my very first Stampin’ Up Convention!!!!! and I will be heading there with Wendy from Luvin’ Stampin‘!

As most of you know Wendy and I have been friends for more than 20  years and we decided this year we would make the 10 hour DRIVE to Salt Lake City!
This is our FIRST road trip EVER together! Wendy’s Mom Paula and her best friend Candy will be coming along with us!

One of the things we do at Convention is SWAP cards. I made over 300 cards to take with me. (Which is really nothing! I hear that people bring up to 1000 cards to swap)

I created cards for 3 different events and I will be sharing them this week with you! I hope you enjoy seeing what I created!!

Here is one of the cards I created. Because I did 200 of these I used different color back grounds for these cards. I used the follow colors: Bermuda Bay, Perfect Plum, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry!

I believe that these were the easiest cards I have ever made! It was very easy to create the 200 cards that I did and it only took me around 4-5 hours to complete all of them.

I could have easily created 200 more but stopped so I could move on to the the other two cards I needed to created. I’ve never had to create so many cards and I think it will be so fun to come home with 200 different cards.

I will not be back tomorrow with a Project Life by Stampin’ Up layout because I am getting ready to head out of town! (There is always so much to do and I never feel like I have enough time)

As much as I’m looking forward to going I will admit that I do have a bit of anxiety over it all. I am not one of those people that love being in crowds and to be honest I don’t like traveling. I would much rather be at home with my family!

However with this being the last Stampin’ Up Convention and having the chance to go on a road trip with my Best Friend I felt like it was really important to push myself outside my comfort zone make some memories!
