Craft Room

Welcome to my craft room page! Over the years my craft room has changed many many times.
Some changes have come because we have moved, some changes have been made because I started my own business and other changes have happened simply because I’ve evolved in the way I craft over the other years.

I hope you enjoy seeing some of these spaces! I would love see your space – Upload your photos to social media and use the #LovingLifesCraftSpaces

March 2014

Because our house only has 3 bedrooms and we have 3 children – 2 girls and a boy we knew that at some point  we would have to figure a different place for my craft room/office to be.
We had a garage that we were using for basic storage. It was the catch all for everything! We decide it would be the perfect addition to our home!
Here are a few photos of the Garage looked when got started.
I’m so thankful my husband was willing to take time off work and create such a great room for me. We had thought it would take 1 week, it ended up taking 1 month.

Here is what it was when I first moved in. I was so excited to finally move in that things were not even “finished” before I started moving all my stuff in.

Every month on the 3rd Saturday I take a few moments to share with you the progress of my room.
I really enjoy being able to do a video and ask everyone for help when I come a cross something I can’t figure out!

March 2012

In July of 2011 we moved back to my home town and into a new house. This house was much smaller than the house we first lived it. I knew my craft room would be about 1/2 the size it was in our old house.

I also started my Stampin’ Up Business shortly after we moved in to this house so my Craft Room also needed to function as my office.

My Video Camera’s and Cameras
I have 2 Video Camera’s and 2 Point and Shoot Camera’s. The First Video Camera I got I really did love, but it didn’t get very good close up shots.
This was my FLIP camera. Its super simple to use and holds alot.
You can take a look below at my very first craft space. The space below was used only as my scrapbooking area because at that time it was the only thing I was doing.

January 2011

In 2005 I started getting into “Scrapbooking”. I attended a Creative Memory Party and became intrigued with what scrapbooking consisted of. For some reason putting pictures in albums resonated with my soul in a deep and profound way.
I began collecting a few items here and there as my interest in this hobby grew. In 2006 I got married to my best friend and moved to the home he lived which had an extra room that wasn’t filled with children yet!
As my stash of product began to grow (when we were dating all of supplies fit in 2 crates) I desired to have a place set up in our home where I could go and create and this is what it looked like!
This was the desk where I would sit.The shelf was built by my Husband!
