Creating Lots Of Monochromatic Cards

Hello, and Happy Monday! I hope you are having a beautiful, blessed start to your week.

This weekend we had a little store blow in that brought us some cooler weather, and a little bit of rain.

I was able to spend all of Saturday in my studio creating some really fun cards! I used a fun technique to create these simple cards for our Church to be able to send out to all the different people.

{Creating Lots Of Monochromatic Cards}

I used all 5 In Colors that are retiring. Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, and Powder Pink.

I am going to miss Lemon Lime Twist the most!

I pulled out some old Designer Paper that coordinates with these colors that I had on hand. I love scrapbooking paper and always pick up extras of the ones I love.

Don’t forget that there are only a few more days left to be able to pick up the any of the current Designer Paper that will be retiring in just little over a week.

One of the things that is making it easy to create so many cards is keeping each of the cards I create simple.

I’m choosing to use simple measurement, and simple layers.

My other tip is to use larger, bolder sentiments. I decided to use black ink to allow the sentiments to really pop on these cards.

By using foam on the back of some of the simply layers it adds a small amount of dimension to the cards.

You can purchase any of the supplies I used on my project in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photos below.

Remember that some items are retiring and may not be stock.

Spend $50.00 or more with me and get the new Annual Catalog sent out ASAP with a fun set of goodies.

{Other Products}

There were a few items that I used that were not Stampin’ Up Products. I’ve listed those below.

I love being able to support other companies, and use other products that I love.

  • Reverse Confetti – God is God
  • Reverse Confetti – My Heart Trusts
    This stamp set is not one I used, and it is currently out of stock, but it would also be great for these kinds of cards.
  • Reverse Confetti – My Rock
  • Reverse Confetti – The Lord’s Strength
  • Reverse Confetti – Walk My Faith
    This is another stamp set that I didn’t use, but would totally work! I ended up placing a small order for the few I didn’t have. They are just great stamps.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing these cards I am making for our Church. I still have about 100 to make, so once I get some more done I will share them with you.
