Let’s Use Designer Paper To Create A Card

I’m back for week 3 of my Simple Card using fun technique series and this week we are going to focus on Designer Series Paper.

This is something I tend to struggle with!

I really love white space on cards, so because of that I tend to shy away from using a lot of designer paper. Let’s dive into this technique and see what we come up with. I believe it is always good to get out of your comfort zone and try something new every once in awhile.

The only thing you didn’t see me don on the video was the heat embossing with the white embossing powder. I feel like the white embossing powder doesn’t work great on Stampin’ Up Basic Black Cardstock. I’m not sure why it doesn’t show up as crisp as I know it could be. Last year I purchased some different brand black cardstocks and my plan is try them out soon. You can purchase any of the supplies I used on today’s project in my online store HERE, by clicking on the photos below. We only have a few days left in April so make sure you get your orders in so you can get your FREE Card Kit, and Exclusive Video, and PDF Tutorials.

I hope you are having a great start to your week, and I look forward to have lots of crafty fun with you! Make sure you head over to my Facebook Page HERE so you don’t miss out on any upcoming news.
