Card Sketch Monday – Simple Birthday Card

I don’t know about you but sometimes coming up with a design of a card seems so hard. I just want to dive into the ink, and the paper, and be making something.

Because I struggle with this I do something called “Make A Card Monday” on my Facebook group with my team.

Each Monday I share Card Sketch on our Team Facebook Page, and each Wednesday I share Color Wednesday which is a simple color combo.

This takes all the work out of card making. Just follow the card sketch, or color combo, or combine both of these, and go to town creating something.

Today I thought I would share with you the card sketch that I shared last week, and the card I created.

I don’t always follow the card sketch exactly. I’ll use the sketch as a jumping off point. You will notice a few things with my card that are a little different.

I love that you can either use the solid cardstock for the layers of this card, or you can use that beautiful Sweet Soiree Speciality DSP.
