Simply Documented – January

Happy Memory Keeping Friday! I’m so excited to be sharing with you my plans for the new year with my Project Life Family Album, as well as a brand new class that I’m launching today.

This is a class that I have been wanting to get together for you for over a year!

Today we are going to jump into setting up your Project Life album for the year, and talk about what this class is going to be about!

I want to help you find away to keep everyday memory keeping simple so you can get it done, but make it meaningful so that you will cherish these memory keeping albums for years to come.

{Simply Documented – January}

This is how January is turning out for me. I love using the I love Winter, and Perfect Winter Paper Sets from Echo Park. I finished up the month of January with my Simply Documented group on Wednesday.

When you sign up for this class today you will have access to the live workshop I did where I finished these foundation pages up.

I started out with Week #1 side A which has my divider for the month, along with a Calendar.

Side two of Week 1 has the backside of my Calendar page which I added some designer paper to. This is where I will keep any other “extra” items for the month.

You can see that my title cards have been layered onto the Echo Park Scrapbooking paper, and then I’ve used some stamps I had on hand to add a few touches to them. I love these title cards I’m using this year because they are versatile.

Where you see plain white square is where I will drop in photos. You can see that there is not any embellishing done at this point because I wait to do that when I drop in my photos.

You will also notice that there is less room for journaling on some of these weeks. This year I am focusing on having a little bit more grace with myself, and not forcing myself to journal so much.

It is something that I truly struggle with at times, and want to find ways to make journaling fun, and easy again.

I’m looking forward to sharing more of my Project Life weekly spreads with you here this year. At the beginning of each month I will share with you what work I have done in my Project Life album.

Some months this will mean sharing with you how I am simply getting things prepped. So that I can remain on top of my album, and other months you will see completed pages.
