Split Coloring On Kraft Cardstock

Over the last few weeks I have had an itch to create something different. I have been getting bored with the same ol’ kind of cards I’ve been doing.

Sometimes you just want to shake things up!

This card I have created using some watercolor markers, and Kraft cardstock. I love the way this has turned out.

I almost wish I had layered a different color behind the Kraft cardstock. Maybe it would have helped the leaves pop.

When you purchase $50.00, or more from me, I will send you out this months appreciation gift. The Feathery Friends Host Stamp Set. You can check out details for that HERE!

This card didn’t come out the way I thought it would however, I do like the end result. I took a huge amount of inspiration from two of Jennifer McGuire videos. Check them out below.

  • Coloring on Kraft Cardstock – I really wasn’t sure how to go about coloring on this kind of cardstock. I loved how Jennifer did the color in her video.
  • Split Level Coloring – This inspired the foundation of my card. This video came up while I was watching her video on coloring on Kraft cardstock.

Here are a few other supplies I used. I’ve used affiliate links when possible.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card today, and I’m looking forward to doing more techniques like this in the future.

I watched the video where you said you “didn’t like pumpkin spice” coffee. Our 4-legged sporting dog is a coffee girl. Pumpkin is one of her favorite. She will steal her papa’s coffee but not mommas

Just came across your videos. Now I have some catching up to do:)

    God Bless
