Simple Card Using Painted Autumn

Can I just say WOOT WOOT … My mojo is back!!!! And it feels amazing! I have finally been able to sit down and create something.

Thank you so much for all your kind comments here on my website, and over youtube this week as I had shared with you I had been struggling!

You guys also gave me such amazing ideas for t.v shows I’m going to check out.

Since the Mojo showed back up today I pulled out the Painted Harvest stamp set that is in the new Stampin’ UP Holiday Catalog that comes out September 1st.

This stamp set is one that I tend to struggle with since is a “builder set.” Meaning you stamp several images to create one final image.

The Painted Harvest stamp sets creates beautiful Sunflowers. I love the way the finally card turned out.

The idea for this card came from a Card Sketch that I shared with my Stampin’ UP! team. Whenever I am using a sketch to create I try not get to caught up in following the sketch perfectly.

I use the sketch to inspire me to create, as a jumping off point. In this case I used the flags differently than the sketch showed.

I love way the way this card came out. It is magical to see this image start to take form as you layer the inks together.

At first I wanted to use Cajun Crazy, however my ink pads needs some reinking. I decided to go with Crushed Curry, and Peakaboo Peach.
