Project Life Album Updates

Hello, and welcome to Simply Documented Friday! Over the summer I did some major memory keeping work on all of our Project Life albums. I am excited to dive in, and share with you some of things the things I did.

The first thing you may notice is that “Memory Keeping Friday” has now become “Simply Documented Friday

I have a Membership group that I run each month called Simply Documented. Major changes happened to this program over the summer, and I couldn’t be happier with the way everything worked out.

The Simple Documented Membership cost $10.00 a month, and I it is the place that I share 98% of all my memory keeping efforts.

You can check out all the details for that group HERE.

Today I wanted to share with you how I am tackling getting our Project Life Albums up to date, and current with the month. I am hoping to have them in good shape by the time we start September.

I would normally get everything finished, and then share with you. However this time I figured I would share with you how these pages look when I’m in the process of doing this Memory Keeping thing!

The first part of July I use Designer Paper from Close To My Heart that was sent to me by a friend. I don’t think this paper is available anymore.

For my 4th of July pictures I use the Americana Themed Cards by Becky Higgins.

Here is another page using the summer paper from Close To My Heart. One of the things on my list to do is Title Cards.

For the rest of July I used the Jade Core Kit from Becky Higgins. This core kit is retired, however can get it HERE on Amazon. If you are a prime member it is on sale right now for $27.41 and you get free shipping.

The Jade Core kit is still one of my favorites!

For the month of August I am using the Project Life By Stamping’ Up Kit called “All Year Long”. I’m sad to say that this kit is no longer available from Stampin’ Up!

I love using Designer Paper to create my Project Life Style cards. It is simple, and helps me to feel inspired.

For September I used the new Painted Harvest Designer Paper that will be available from the new Holiday Catalog on September 1st.

I did the same thing for October, and used the Spooky Night Designer Paper by Stamping’ UP! How much do you love this paper?

This is where all of my albums now live! Over the summer I moved all of my scrapbooking albums into my office onto this shelf.

I have the Kallax Shelf Unit in both the large, and small.

I moved all my post albums to 3 ring D albums. I’ve started purchasing my albums on HERE. My Brand of choice when it comes to Albums are We Are Memory Keepers  or the Becky Higgins.

I hope you enjoyed see an update on my Project Life Albums, and some of the projects I have tackled over the summer.

I would love to know where you are at with your Memory Keeping? What project you are working on?

The last time I did any memory keeping was when one of my grandsons was born. Hes 3 1/2 now. How sad. All my photos are on memory cards and not even printed yet

Hello Katina, I am Cheryl Martin. I am new to Project Life, so I have a few questions. I am tackling 2 yes 2 decades of photos of 1980 and 1990’s. The problem is the 4 x 6 sized PL are too big for these photo sizes. The size these photos are are 3.5 x 4 7/8. What would you suggest?
What I thought, which would take a bit more time is to add a 4 x 6 background to them then glue or ??? , so they would stay in the sleeves. (they keep falling out). The other thing if there are not PL with that size maybe trim them but most are just exact so it would crop too much of the photo.
What do you think if I was to find the negatives and print them as 4 x 6 or 3 x 4? I would really appreciate your input.
If you have already addressed this in early blogs, videos, etc a link would be great too.

I love your organization of your albums. That is my goal to organize all the magnetic albums (20+) my grandmother gave me, inherited, after she passed away from my aunt.
