Favorite Moment - Mini Vacation & Graduations

Hello Friends! Last week I took somewhat of a mini vacation … kind of!!!!

I headed down to my friend Carrie’s house to help her re-organize her office / crafting space.

As I was getting ready to head down to her house it was clear that I wasn’t going to be able to get everything done that needed to be done for my website, and YouTube channel.

I decided to take a little mini vacation. I’m so glad I did. After all the stress of getting catalogs out, and preparing for the release of the new catalog I needed a little time off.

{Mini Vacation At Carrie’s}

I was at Carrie’s house from Monday morning, to Wednesday Afternoon. We tackled furniture placement, shopping, and organization!

If you know me, you know I LOVE organizing, and craft room fun. Helping her figure out her craft room mess was not at all work for me.

You can check Carries website out here Crafty Carrie

We had some very long days. It was hard working getting everything sorted, and put away in her office space. We had some good laughs, a little wine!

And lets talk about this dog!!!! Carrie’s dog was super sweet! The cutest dog I ever did see!!!! He became a quick friend.

Which honestly I’m not an animal person at all. So the fact that I ended up loving this guy just a little bit was amazing.

I headed home on Wednesday afternoon, and to be honest I really did find myself missing Carrie a ton! It was so much fun to hang out, chat about Stampin’ UP business, and re-organize her office.

You will want to make sure to check back here on my website in a few weeks because Carrie, and I did a ton of filming! I will be sharing a look at her new space.

{Andrew’s Pre-School Graduation}

I jumped right back into home life on Thursday with Andrew’s Pre-School Graduation.

I was so happy that I missed the 95 degree weather, and came home to a nice cool front that blew in.

It’s hard to believe that Andrew is 5 years old, and graduating pre-school. He will start Kindergarten in the fall. Which means he will be in school a full day.

I was feeling so very emotional by the end of the week.

Between all the excitement of Carrie’s office red0, and all the fun for Andrew’s last day of school I was glad I took the week off.

The very best part of this job is setting my hours, and deciding what projects I want to work, and when. It is not always easy balancing home life, and work life.

However, I can promise you that is completely worth it.

I have truly missed creating, and sharing with you. I will be back starting tomorrow with all new projects as we count down the days until the Annual Catalog goes live.
