Stampin’ Up Star Light Cards

For months now I have been on the fence about getting the Starlight Bundle. It includes the stamp set, and die set. I wasn’t sure I really wanted, or if I would find much use for it.

However, I just kept finding reasons I needed this set.

Most of these “reasons” I was coming across happen to be on Pinterest. (Who can resist a good project you find on Pinterest?)

I decided to dive in, and order this set about a week ago. Once I got it, and ran these dies through my Big Shot I was in star flake heaven. Make sure you check out the video below to see how I did a little stamp surgery to create something I liked a little better.

These two were so much fun to put together. I loved this color combo of Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, and Smokey Slate. It is simple, yet makes the design really pop.

I love making cards with snow flakes, and after I cut a little bit off one of the stamps in the set it turned out to be a perfect snow flake.

Don’t ever be afraid of cutting up a stamp set to make it work better for you, or the project you are working with. As long as you keep the pieces you cut you can always use the pieces together again on a future project.

You can pick up any of these items in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photos below. When you use this months host code: HUZGRD9R  and place a $50.00 order or more you will receive 3 cards, and I currently have 30 brand new stamp sets to give away.

Supply List

I would love to know which card you liked the most. Leave me a comment and let me know. I will be back all this week with Project Life Projects, and more Stampin’ Up Projects.
