Stories Of Home – Project Life Insert

Each year I snap a few photos around our house to put into our Project Life. This tradition started out as a way to document either things that “needed” to be done, such as home improvement projects, whatever was on the honey-do list at the time.

Then it turned in to a really fun way to look back at the way our home was evolving.

Last year Becky Higgins came out with a FREE set of “Stories Of Home” Project Life cards that you could print out and use to document a house tour. You can see her blog post about that HERE and even download, and print her cards HERE.

Because I used the set of cards she created last year, I didn’t want to use the same ones this year. I decided it would be simply enough to create my own, print them out and use them.

{Stories Of Home – Project Life Insert}

Each year I’ve done a it different in our Family album, sometimes its simple 2 page layout that I use for that weeks layout, or use a Project Life page protector, and do it as in insert.

This is what I choose to do this year. I took a Page Protector Design Y, trimming it down slightly to fit the photos, and cards I wanted use.

This is the back side of the insert. You can see I trimmed down two of the printed cards, layer them on either designer paper, or basic black cardstock.

I used a few of supplies from Stampin’ Up, you can purchase any of these supplies in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photos below.
