Hello Friends! I hope you have had a wonderful week, here in sunny California it has been just that … SUNNY! I’ve enjoyed the warmer temperature, and the break in the rain.

I wanted to share with you a project that I have been diving into the for the last few months. At the beginning of January I decided to take a few classes from the very talented Ali Edwards.

I’ve been a faithful follower of Ali Edwards for years. Mostly because her outlook on memory keeping is amazing to me. It inspires me in such a deep way. I really love everything she does.

This year I am taking 2 classes from her. One Little Word & Storytelling. I thought I would share with you my thoughts about these two classes along with the pages that I’m putting together using the Project Life App.

I decided that it would work best for me to use the Project Life App to document my progress with One Little Word. I didn’t feel like I could really keep up with another physical album.

{My One Little Word Plan}

My plan is do all my pages in the App. Add my journaling on my computer using Picmonkey, and then print the pages through the app at 8×8.

I decided to keep it simple by using one main kit. I’m using the Just Add Color Core Kit, which was an HSN exclusive.
I will be adding in a few other cards from a few other kits, but they will only be black & white colored cards.

Here are the first few pages. I’m keeping all my photos black & white, and there is more journaling on these pages than I do for any of my other Project Life Albums.

I’m trying to approach this project from a very honest, and raw place this year. Last year my word was ‘accomplish,’ and without doing the workshop the word I chose really did impact my life.

This year as I’m going through this workshop, and connecting with others I am desiring more impact, and change in my life.

Most of the journaling you will find on these pages is me just journaling, and trying to let go of it being perfect. This album will be an album that is just for me. I won’t be leaving it out for all the world to see. I will also not be sharing all of my pages here.

I look forward to where this journey is going to take me! If you have a word you are following this year I would love to know what it is! Leave a me a comment below and let me know.

    I love your one little word. It reminds me of my one word for last year: “FULL”. I always felt half empty. I didn’t measure up. I wasn’t good enough. Never completed projects, etc. Well, that word changed me. God spoke to my heart through scriptures, people and projects. This year my word is “TRUST”. It’s scary and exciting to see where it will take me. What I have found though is “FULL” will always be a part of me now. Each word will always stay with you.
    Enjoy the journey and THRIVE! You were made for it!
