Friendship…

Hello Everyone,
We have had a busy week this week! Lots of posts and lots of fun.
I realized that I’ve never posted my mini album that I did for my friend so here it is.
Let me just start by say I hate taking pictures of stuff sometimes, I mean most of the time its fine but then there are times that I just can’t get a good picture do to lighting, or the angle is off.

So this is one of those times. With these pictures I took them all outside to try and take advantage of the natural lighting, it only kind of worked.
This album was a 11 x 8 1/2 which I’ve never worked with this size before.
I found the album at Big Lots for under $10.00 and I’ve been holding on it to it for just such an occasion.
I then took some ribbon and tied it arund the font and hung a charm from the bow.
This was the title page. I had handed picked the paper close to 2 years ago. I had only been able to get one piece so I never used it. I used New Arival to cut the Onesies and then used the Cuttlebug to emboss it. I used the mini heart folder and I embossed it “inside out” so the raised part was underneath. I then used SCALS for the title.
For this Layout I used Create A Critter! I love that Cartridge!

These were pictures that were in my daughters album and I used this same paper.
My friend said she wanted a copy of the picture and she liked this page in Kayla’s Album.
I used George for the flowers and SCALS for the title

This page I did with Walk In My Garden and Preserves.

This was a very simple page, I followed a sketch I found because I hadn’t been feeling much in the mood to scrap. I used my MS button punch to add a little something to it.
I love this Hello Kitty page. In the pictures my daughter is wearing a Hello Kitty shirt and I love the car on that cartridge.  This paper is some of my favorite papers. I bought 6 pieces and the great part was I found this for .15 cents a piece.
I got to use my Paisley Cartridge for this Layout which was nice since I hadn’t really used it since I got it.
I used my Cuttlebug on the frog. The Distressed Folder is really neat for a lot of different effects.
I made the Cricut head using the George Cartridge. If anyone wants instructions on how to do this just let me know.
This Sesame Street page was a lot of fun! I saved this paper for along time now, I loved the paper and I had it so long I can’t even remember where I got it!
In the picture Madison is wearing Elmo P.Js and my daughter loves Elmo so it worked to be a great page.
Summer Time was fun today, I’ve had this paper for a few months sitting aside just waiting to be used
The other fun thing about this page was the flip flops! In recent days I’ve been really getting into using my SCALS for SVGs.
This is so fun and so useful. The only Cartridge I found that has flip flops was Life Is A Beach which I don’t have. I also used SCALS to do my title.
Then I used Create a Critter for the Whale with my Cuttlebug!
Paisley fun! I love anything Paisley! This paper Wendy got me at Joann’s! The funny part is back in March when her and I went shopping together I picked out this paper and then I used this paper for our first sketch.
The night she got this paper for me she was so excited and when she showed me on Skype I couldn’t help but laugh. She didn’t remember me buying it with her or using it on our fist sketch! I also used the Paisley Cartridge.
And last but not least this was the card I made to go with the gift. I did a whole purple theme!
I did a very basic card, 2 pieces of paper, ribbon and a charm. It sort of matched the front of the album!
The Happy Birthday stamp I got at one of my Local Scrapbooking Stores!
Thanks everyone for checking out my mini album. It was a blast making it!
