Project Life Page Protector Organization

School has finally kicked off, with all of the little people in my house settled into Preschool, 1st Grade, and 3rd Grade I am finally starting to get things organized, and settled around the house.

I find I’m much more creative when my supplies are organized, which makes them easy to access.

With that thought in mind I recently reorganized where all my Page Protectors are kept, and how I access them to easily to create my Project Life Pages.

{Project Life Page Protectors Organization}

Here is a look at the basket where all of my backup page protectors are kept. You can see that I have my Ultimate Guide in the front of this container so I can take it out, and use it easily.

Project Life Page Protectors Organization

The basket is something I already had in my craft room. You will want to find a basket that is at least 13 inches wide so that it will be large enough to hold the box of page protectors.

For all other page protectors that are not in my “back up” pile, are organized in a D Ring Album. I created simple dividers, so that I can pull the one album out, and pull page protectors that I need for certain projects I am working on.

August 2016 Paper Pumpkin

I thought it would be fun to kick off the week with My Paper Pumpkin for August! I got this kit over the weekend, and I was excited to open it up. I had shared a sneak peak of the Stamp Set over on my Facebook page HERE.

However, when I opened it up I wasn’t so happy!

Honest moment here … I didn’t care for the colors at all. I loved the stamp set, and I loved the embellishments, but the design of the paper wasn’t blowing my skirt up! I decided to challenge myself to think outside of the little orange box, and make something that I loved.

{August 2016 Paper Pumpkin}

After a little bit of thought, and simply playing with the product to see what would work best, I finally came out with something that I can truly say I love.

These card would be great for the men in your life.

August 2016 Paper Pumpkin

Out of all the cards I created these two are my favorite. I really enjoyed using the burlap ribbon, Early Expresso Baker Twine. I love all things Early Espresso, It is one of my favorite colors from Stampin’ Up.

PMS Card Class Success!

I joined Stampin’ Up back in 2012. At the time my good friend Wendy, and I had a blog called Two Chics and a Cricut! We loved scrapbooking, and since we lived so far away from each other it was a fun way to stay connected doing something we loved.

We found Stampin’ Up, fell in love with the product.

After 2 years she finally convinced me to join Stampin’ UP! as well, and since I already had a website (and 3 children under the age of 4 at the time) it seemed best to do any business with Stampin’ Up online.

Because of this I have not had much of a chance to do workshops, craft fairs, or card classes! I held around 6 card classes a few years back. I found that they are fun to do, but a lot of work if you do them on your own.

I have to say that having your best friend as your upline, and partner in business is pretty amazing. A few months ago we decided to bring our business together for an in person card class. I can not tell you how thankful I am that we decided to dive in, and do this! We had a BLAST!

{PMS Card Class Success!}

The idea for this card class is pretty simple. I will design 4 cards each month, and she will design 4 cards each month as well. The best thing about this idea is that my weaknesses are Wendy’s strength! And the things that I am good at, she struggles with.

BAM match made in Stampin’ heaven!

This month because I had so much going on, she designed 5 cards, and I designed 3. You can check out my 3 cards HERE.

Here are the other two cards that Wendy created. My favorite out of them is the Navy blue with white rose cut out. You can check out that stamp set, and die HERE.

This is the card that almost made me lose my mind! No more crazy folding cards during class!!

6 Cards With Stampin’ UP Totally Trees

6 Cards With Stampin' UP Totally Trees

One of the many perks to being a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator is I get to pre-order from catalogs before they go live to the public. I’ve been drooling over the Holiday Catalog now for about a month, and was finally able to order from it a few weeks ago.

I would love for you to JOIN my team, and enjoy these perks with me. Find out more HERE

I started by pre-ordering all of the Fall items. As most of you know Fall is my favorite time of the year! I simply couldn’t wait any longer to create some pretty Fall Cards with the Stampin’ UP! Totally Trees Stamp Set!

{6 Cards With Stampin’ UP Totally Trees}

I designed 6 different cards to share with you today. This is the one I created in my video for you. In my video today I used the Layering Squares Framelits to create the square panel I stamped in.

6 Cards With Stampin' UP Totally Trees

These two cards I made using some simple layers. The Designer Paper I used for these cards is also in the Holiday Catalog. It is the new Petals & Paisleys Speciality Designer Paper. I am loving the colors of this paper.

6 Cards With Stampin' UP Totally Trees

I love the way these two cards came together. The first one has a ton of white space which allows those colors to really pop. The greeting is from another new stamp set called “Paisleys & Posies”

The second card is my favorite! I love the stripes of the designer paper paired with the simple color circles of the tree! I used a little bit of Glossy Accents, and Wink Of Stella to make those trees shine.

6 Cards With Stampin' UP Totally Trees

This was the first card I put together as I started playing with this stamp set. Sometimes the first card you create doesn’t always turn out the way you want. I do not like the rounded corners on this card at all.

I never end up liking rounded corners on the cards I create.

6 Cards With Stampin' UP Totally Trees

The Totally Trees Stamp Set will be available when the Holiday Catalog goes live September 1st. Any of the other supplies I used you can pick up in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photo below.

FREE KITS – If you would like a free kit please use hostess code: NMPC4VVT
If your order is $150.00 please do NOT use the hostess code, and you will earn your own Stampin’ Rewards.

Supply List

How much do you love the new Designer Paper? I promise I will be using the Petals & Paisleys Speciality Designer Paper more once September gets here! This Designer Paper is very much my style.

If you would like a Holiday Catalog please simply click HERE. I’m happy to send one out in the mail to you.

Thoughtful Branches And Bermuda Bay

Thoughtful Branches is such an amazing stamp set, and framelit set to have. I’ve been so surprised at how many different things you can do with set. You can do everything from Spring cards to Christmas cards.

Head over to my Facebook page HERE, and check out the awesome fall pumpkin card you can make with this set.

This set is only available this month, and only while supplies last.

This set is one I’ve decided to keep on hand, not only for the great sentiments you get with it but also because there is so much you can do with the images.

{Thoughtful Branches And Bermuda Bay}

Real Red or Bermuda Bay which one do you like better? Leave me a comment, and let me know.

Thoughtful Branches And Bermuda Bay

Here is the Real Red set. I used the Real Red color thinking I would make this some kind of Christmas Card, however right before I stamped something Christmas on it I realized it would make a beautiful simple “Thank You” Card.

Thoughtful Branches And Bermuda Bay

Here is the set that I did in Bermuda Bay. I feel like this set seems more like Winter than the red set. However, I think they both work well for a Thank You Card.

Thoughtful Branches And Bermuda Bay

You can pick up any of the items I used on todays project in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photo below. Don’t forget I am giving away FREE kits for every $50.00 order spent when you use this hostess code: NMPC4VVT

Back To School Treats & Teacher Gifts

Next week we will head back to school. Kayla will be heading into 3rd grade, Violet will be heading into 1st grade, and Andrew will be starting Pre-school. This will be the very first year that all 3 of my kids are in school!

Can I just say WOW! Where did the time go?

I can’t believe that for the first time in 8 years I will be home alone. I would say I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself, but that wouldn’t be true. I have a business to run!!!!

I thought I would share with you what I’m putting together for the girls to take for treats for their classmates for the first day of school, I’ve also put together gift baskets for their teachers.

{Back To School Treats & Teacher Gifts}

These are the cards I created to put in the teacher’s gift baskets. I kept them simple since I wanted to make a set of 8 for each teacher.

Back To School Treats & Teacher Gifts

Here is how the cards looked once I got them all packaged up. How much do you love that Bermuda Ribbon from a few a years ago. I still have a few rolls left.

Back To School Treats & Teacher Gifts

For Kayla’s class I simply used My Paper Pumpkin kit, these little diamond boxes were perfect for the back school treats! (You can view this months Paper Pumpkin video HERE)

Paper Pumpkin Treats

For Violet’s class I picked up few boxes of Mini Gold fish, and used the Seaside Shore Stamp set to add one little tag to them. You can see these are super simple, but cute! They will be easy for her to hand out.

You maybe be wondering why I didn’t do anything for Andrew’s Pre-school class. Part of the reason I didn’t is because I simply ran out of time!!! Hey, it happens to the best of us. The second reason I didn’t was because it was much more work getting him enrolled for pre-school than we thought.

He will end up starting a week later than the girls.

I’ve been pretty upset about the whole thing the last few days but I realized that you just have to let go, and roll with it. It will be fine! He will get settled in over the next week!

I thought I would share with you some of the items that Stampin’ Up has for pretty packaging, along with any of the supplies I used to put these treats together.

If you would like to pick any of these items up you can do in my online store HERE, or by clicking on the photos below.

Supply List

I hope you enjoyed seeing the items that I’m doing for back to school. You can follow my Pinterest board HERE with more ideas for school treats, and fun.
