Easy DIY Christmas Gift Bag

A few weeks ago I set aside this Kraft color gift bag knowing that I could use for one of the Christmas gifts I had picked up. You can never go wrong with a simple Kraft color gift bag.

There are so many different things you can do with these bags.

I decided to add a little designer paper, a little bit of ribbon, and it turned out perfect. 2 of the ribbons used on this bag are retired. I love picking up ribbon on the clearance rack, and stocking up.

Is there such thing as too much ribbon? I don’t think so, however my husband may disagree with me. Which is why it is best if he doesn’t know HOW much ribbon I have!

{Easy DIY Christmas Gift Bag}

I love the way this turned out! I was thinking that this same style, or design would work perfect for those smaller Starbucks craft color bags you get.

Now I just need to make a few Christmas gift tags to go along with it!

Dreaming Of A Pink Christmas

Years, and years ago I was in love with the color pink! I mean I truly loved the color pink, and just about everything I had was some shade of pink.

Everything except my Christmas Decorations, along with Christmas crafts.

I am truly traditional when it comes to Christmas, so I’m not really dreaming of a pink Christmas! This card was a bit of an accident. I started out with Real Red, and Cherry Cobbler.

Whenever you are doing a water coloring wash as I did for this card, the colors you are using will lighten up quite a bit because of the way you are applying the color to paper.

This card was inspired by the nail art I had done this week, make sure you follow me on Instagram HERE to see a picture of what I had done, and how it inspired this card.

{Dreaming Of A Pink Christmas}

I really like the way this card turned out. After I finished this card I thought it would be really pretty done in purple. I’ve been thinking a lot of the color purple the last few days as it was my Grandma’s favorite color.

November 2016 My Paper Pumpkin

November 2016 My Paper Pumpkin

This November 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit has been sitting around for about week. I have been dreaming about diving into it. I knew it was some kind of winter wonderland card kit which was going to be so much fun to put together.

I decided to do a simple, yet really fun Water Coloring background.

I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. I think I will try it again using some Water Color Paper that will hold up better with the use of my Aqua Painter.

{November 2016 My Paper Pumpkin}

The kit comes with note size cards, so I simply added these to a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card front. I will add this card front to a whisper white card base. This way I have a larger size card.

December Calendar Page

I just wanted to Thank everyone who left comments on Youtube, here on my website, or who sent emails with well wishes for my Grandma. She is finally home from the hospital after having a minor surgery. Our family is working on getting her settled at home, and rested since she is still pretty weak from everything she has been through.

I appreciate your thoughts, and prayers. It has been so wonderful reading your comments, and emails.

For today’s project I am featuring the Hang Your Stocking dies again. This time we are using these super cute stockings on a 12×12 scrapbooking page that I have attached to a DIY Calendar.

{December Calendar Page}

I’m starting to get nervous about getting these 3 calendars finished. After putting together this Christmas layout for December I have 9 more to get finished.

Hang Your Stocking Quick Card

Today before I jump into the card I have for you,  I wanted to share some personal struggles I have been having over the last week and half. If you follow me on Facebook you may have seen that I asked prayer for my Grandmother.

She is currently in the hospital, and we are unsure how things are going. I will be heading to the hospital in Reno on Wednesday to see her.

I would appreciate your prayers for her, and our family.

Because of this situation the card that I was going to share with you yesterday, I’m sharing with you today. I would appreciate your patience as my blog posts may be running late this week. With that being said let dive into this card I’ve created for you.

{Hang Your Stocking Quick Card}

As I have mentioned over the last few projects I am going to be using more of the same product on multiple projects. This die set will be featured on another project later in the week.

I have to admit that this die was much easier to use than I thought it was going to be. All the little pieces intimidated me. Once I started cutting these stockings out I realized it was much easier than I thought.

Hang Your Stocking

When you place a $50.00, or more order with me using this months Host Code:HUZGRD9R, you will get FREE card kits. Don’t forget to check out the new Stitched Dies, and the 25% off the stamp sets that coordinate!

Later this week I will be using this stamp set, and die on a Calendar page. I am starting to get worried that I will not get these Calendar Pages done in time for Christmas. After this week I will have a total of 9 more to complete. Stay tuned…

Simple Christmas Tags

I thought it would be fun this month to give away FREE stamp sets for anyone who order $50.00 or more, and I needed a little something to dress these stamp sets up.

I decided to create some simple Christmas tags that you can reuse.

I thought these tags ended up being perfect. I love the red, and green traditional Christmas colors with the little hint of gold with that beautiful gold bakers twine.

{Simple Christmas Tags}

I have been enjoying using the Kraft Cardstock from Stampin’ Up on so many projects. I love that it comes in 12×12 sheets because I’ve not been limited on what kinds of projects I can create.

It has also worked out to the be perfect color for all of my Christmas Projects I am in the middle of.

Easy Green and Glitter Christmas Card

Over the weekend I shared a Color Combo, and a Card Sketch Challenge with my Stampin’ Up team.
This is something that we often do on our Exclusive Facebook Group.

It is a great way to share different products, and projects we are putting together with one another.

This Card Sketch is from Freshly Picked. I liked the simple layout of this sketch. You could easily use this sketch for more than just Christmas Cards. It would make a great Birthday Card.

Card sketches are quickly becoming my new favorite thing to use. There are several great blogs I follow to find sketches.

Card Sketch

For the color combo I chose Green, White, Crumb Cake, or Sahara Sand, and Grey. You don’t have to use all the colors from the color combo, and you can use any green you have on hand.

Easy Green and Glitter Christmas Card

I chose to combine the Color Combo with that Card Sketch to create a really simple card using the new Stitched Die Framelits.

{Easy Green and Glitter Christmas Card}

I love the way this came out, I used the new Stitched Circle Dies to create this 7″ x 4″ card. I’ve been using Garden Green so much for my recent Christmas projects.

Place a $50.00, or more order with me using this months Host Code:HUZGRD9R. You will get FREE card kits, and I have 21 brand new stamp sets left to giveaway. Make sure you sign up to get my email HERE to keep up today with how many stamp sets are left.

Supply List

I’m starting to do is use a single stamp set on more than project, the sentiment I used on this card I will be using on a project later this week.

This way I’m using more of the amazing, beautiful supplies I am purchasing. I’m feeling like I’m getting more use of them, instead of using them on one project, and forgetting about them.

September Project Life Pages

This week I’m sharing with you some of my September Project Life Pages. I have had these pages done for awhile, and I even have all of October done. It has just taken me a little longer than normal to get these up to share with you.

In September I had problems with my MacBook Pro, and I had problems with my photos on iPhone.

Taking photos everyday, and finding a way to get them off my computer, uploaded to print somewhere was simply too stressful. I decided to take a few weeks in September, and create “Theme” weeks.

{September Project Life Pages}

The first week of September I choose to use the story theme kit from Ali Edwards called “Drive”.
With my husband being a tow truck driver I was able to ask him to take a few photos during his work week, and then I was able to put this layout together.

September Project Life Pages

The next week ended up being a simple layout. These photos are my normal everyday photos.

September Project Life Pages

All the photos for week 38 were all taken during the weekend. We had family visiting, and I knew that I would take several more photos than I normally do. It was easy to turn this weekend fun into a full layout.

September Project Life Pages

The last week of September ended up being normal everyday photos again. By the end of September all of the issues I was having with computers, and iPhone seemed to work, which made it easier to get back into taking photos everyday.

September Project Life Pages

Each month I choose some kind of kit to put my pages together. For September I used the Currently Core kit from Becky Higgins.

I will be back next week with new Christmas Projects for you! Don’t forget that I am giving away Stamp Sets this month. I have 22 left, make sure you use this months Host Code:HUZGRD9R When placing your order of $50.00, or more.

Stampin' Up Stitched Dies

If you haven’t picked up your Stitched Framelits, you will want to make sure to get those HERE. They are amazing, and I will be sharing a project with you on Monday that I’ve already put together using this super cute set.
